HPA and EPI - Galapagos Islands Ecology Spring Break 2026
"There's no better laboratory for conservation and biological field studies than the Galapagos Islands. The islands are overflowing with endemic species, stunning ecosystems, and important conservation issues. Through EPI's partnership with ECOS, a local Galapagos conservation organization, you'll get hands-on experience in Galapagos National Park to collect data on giant tortoises and invasive species. From the Highlands of Isla Santa Cruz, you'll make your way to the iconic marine environments to understand what makes this area of the world so unique, all while working to protect this fragile ecosystem." 14 HPA students alongside 2 HPA educators will be traveling to the Galapagos for Spring Break 2026 participating in a science intensive program with Ecology Project International and ECOS!
